Askur Taproom - Microbrewery and Taproom

This restaurant in the small Icelandic town of Eilstadt is very famous throughout Iceland. It is a separate wooden villa by the sea. The lamb chops here are very delicious, there is no sheep smell, and the cooking of the seasoning is really delicious. I definitely have to make a special trip to taste it.

Special sandwich with fruit drink breakfast, tastes great, and then with special coffee, it is simply cool.

Surprise! Amazing! In this small town of Eilstadzi in northeastern Iceland, there is such a delicious food. Hotel lobby bar, happy hour at 5-7 pm, half price for drinks. The restaurant starts dinner at 6 pm. Lobster soup: rich and complex taste, with the fresh taste of shrimp, and the aroma of dark chocolate, delicious. The first two plates: one is a wild platter, seabirds, reindeer, and goose meat slices, all smoked, very fragrant, no fishy stew. The other is fish and chips, which completely subvert my bad feelings about British fish and chips. Salmon is fried with pulp, the fish is tender and tender, and the mouth is full of raw aroma. The chips can eat the sweet taste of the potatoes themselves. The main course is two: one is the signature dish in the store, the reindeer burger. The salty sauce, five ripe reindeer meat, the most delicious burger I have ever eaten, none of them. Another fried salmon, fried slightly yellowed fish skin, the mouth bursts with the aroma of fish fat, indescribable enjoyment. The fish is tender, fresh and tasteful, which has never been seen anywhere else. Now it&#39;s written and drooling. Alas ～ Born to eat, what should I do?

The vibe of the place was cool. The beer and pizza was great! Saw it while passing through to a waterfall and decided to come back and glad we did.

It’s connected to micro local brewery “Austri” located in East Iceland, Egilsstaðir. They offer a variety of local pizza and a lot of variety craft beer.  Atmosphere is relax.
